Gregor White

Gregor White BA Hons, MLitt, PG Cert Ed. A graduate in Applied Art from Grays School of Art, and History of Art from St Andrews University, joined University of Abertay in 2002 and was appointed as Divisional Leader in 2004.

Practice and theory based research interests include the social and performative functions of interactive spaces. Recent projects include presentation and performance of ‘Lifelines’ interactive drama at San Francisco Performance Cinema Symposium, production of ‘Gigajig’ a motion capture based dance performance with Dundee Repertory Theatre and ‘Journey through the Centre of the Earth’ animation and installation at Our Dynamic Earth visitor centre.

Gregor currently holds office on the steering groups of Games:EDU, the Scottish Media and Communications Association and the Institute for Capitalising on Creativity at St Andrews University. He is involved in a number of interactive media research and development projects with BBC, BSkyB and Open University.
